I am really sorry not to have written during these sunny days. As you may (must ! ) know, I have written an article about brakeless few weeks ago. I wanted to explain my point of view about this not-at-all well-known discipline, after riding on it during two months.
So to resume, I really loved it ! But last weekend I went to the TMS Street Session, a lovely annual session, mixing "real" trials in streets, street/trials and mainly a pretty good ambiance. And without brakes I was a little limited (I have not (yet ? ) the huge level of Flipp, neither Rowan Johns ! ), so I have (re)put the brakes on my TMS Combo. And after a lil' ride, I am really not convinced...
I explain. Without brake, no chance for hesitation, maximum amplitude (for bunny ups and table-tops for example) and something less to think. For a guy who thinks too much, and above all who analysis ALL before making a decision, it is simply the best way to ride. Sure you can do infinitely more things with brakes, but after trying twice, I have take my decision : brakeless.
